Cedar Park House: Modern Lake House Design by Peter Cohan
Peter Cohan is known both for a Washington Native and a brilliant architect. This luxury lake home located in Seattle, Washington is one of his masterpiece, which brought the beautiful view of Lake Washington to its residents.
The major components that brings the awesome pique of the lake are its expansive windows which make up a large portion of the home’s facade. Cedar Park House, the modern home design is built on a 5,500 square feet area is adopting several Japanese influences which can be found in the form of sliding doors and the the widespread wood dressing the floors, walls and interior accents.
Cohan angled the rooms to open onto the terrace and lawn, solidifying this luxury home’s characteristic connection to the outdoors. In an interview seesion with The Seattle Times, Cohan described his masterpiece,”The idea was all about the outdoor spaces, with a ring of activities around them.”
