Building a contemporary house design with concrete constructions seems a difficult job, especially when the given brief was to combine the modern house with the nature elements. However, architects over Schuchart/Dow have completed one of them and called it as a contemporary Northwest natural.
The modern concrete home was built for a client who loves outdoors, botany, wildlife and their own horses. Occupying 11,000 square feet area this modern concrete house features modern touches like contemporary concrete floors and walls, a stainless steel kitchen and basalt countertops.
To enhance the connection between nature and architecture, large windows are applied in every room giving the natural house design the lush and green views. The modern rustic house style is alluring, surrounded by tranquil forest and a landscaped pond outside.
