Interior Design of Lai Penthouse in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan by PMK+Designers

This apartment substantiates many of PMK architect’s thoughts about desegregation among space, architecture, urban living, and spirituality into daily life. Projected for a new couple with a recent newborn daughter, this residence is centered on a common area on the lower floor that supports a wide range of activities, from cooking and dining, family entertainment and music, as well as coming together as a family by its visually seamless transitions from inside to outside to merge the house into its’ cityscape.

The unity of the home’s materials was also an significant factor in the design—solid woods, concrete, and raw metal were selected because they stand up to day to day needs of a family’s use yet look even better with age. Brick wall coats are carefully laid for the exhibit of art and objects, so that these components are incorporated into the architectural material of the space.

Woodworking is a piece of cake …

With tons of blueprints (over 16,000!) for different furniture designs and outdoor woodwork projectsyou can have a great insight into how to build different things with wood. In it, they tell you about wood, how to design projects, the detailed photographs, patterns, blueprints, materials list and step by step instructions on how to put build them.

The second part shows you the different tools and how to use them, and a complete guide to woodwork carpentry. And the color photographs and drawings are beautiful and show a lot of detail.
