Périphériques Architectes has completed a modern metal-frame house design in Thionville, Francia. Occupying an area of 310 square meters, the house is organized in three levels over a parking basement and fixed on a concrete basement. Glass outlines material called “profilit” made up the entire facades which serves both thermal isolation and intimacy protection.

Large windows are the most prominent element found in this modern house. Clear glass windows are organized in such smart manner according to the rooms and the view from the house, and connect it with its environment.

The house can be reached from the street via a leaned ramp, passing by the main door. The first floor which is the house reception level can be accessed by a large stair. Another large multi-purpose entrance could also be found, linking to the parents’ room, adesk room, and a bathroom. There is a helical staircase that goes down to the garden level, where kids bedrooms are placed around a bathroom

From the reception area, there us a stair goes to the day-rooms on the second floor, which the living room, kitchen, and dining room are organized around a vast south-west side terrace. An independent studio flat is located on the east side of the house. It is accessible from the street crossing the garden. Later, it will be easy to connect this part to the main house by the garden level.
