The Cocoon house is built for weekend living which located in a bushy coastal on the Great Ocean Road, Wye River, Coastal Victoria. Husband and wife firm from Bellemo & Cat architects, designed this unique architecture building with a principle of a matchbox inside an egg, a rectangle within oval.

A dramatic side of the building is the steepness of the site, and on the other side offering the dramatic views laong with the harsh climate. In the interior, the spaces dovetail together with the economic precision of a small boat or caravan. The light weight monocoque structure is a hybrid of techniques appropriated from boat building and aircraft engineering.
The Cocoon house is available for rent. You can view the details at Stayz.
