Located near a busy main street in Tokyo, Japan, Kimizuka Architects has delivered a minimalist home design with a polished masonary boundary wall to ensure privacy and noise reduction.
With a hard external appearance, the interior is light and naturally lit and has an open plan layout. The rough surface finishes are designed to play against the general minimalist nature of the house, creating ‘complexity in simplicity’ as said by the practice.
