In the south of Spain, a small village of Zahara de la Sierra is well known for its reservoir made of a concrete dam. The local government made the site as a canoeing water-sport, thus commissioned Julio Barreno Arquitecto to design a contemporary building for canoe storage.

The architect developed the program with only one floor; the main one is a big space for storing the canoes, and additional service spaces grouped in small red booths housing showers, toilets and changing rooms.
