This is a low budget weekender architecture project delivered by Australian architect Bellemo & Cat. The small sountry house sits in its paddock and clearly discover the weather roll over the distant hills. The architect combines various allusions from local touch of Ned Kelly and woolen tents of nomadic Arabic, burka.

Their client was a Lebanese-Australian people who wanted to create a working place with a touch of Middle East culture as well as a home in harmony with the forces of nature on this part of the planet.

The angle of the sun, the outlook to the view and the collection of water have been the determining principles in the design, as has the idea of duality; The harmony for the entire through the strategic placement of the parts.
