Another contemporary interior design ideas comes from Studio o+a as they recently completed the Facebook’s office space design which located at Palo Alto, California, USA. Occupying an area of 150,000-square-foot large, the firm developed a reciprocal consultation with Facebook employees to find out their expectations about the work environment. The result is a sophisticating office space design with different twist for each department.
An interesting point of this designing project is that some walls have been left white and some places look as though they still might need some work. Facebook employee Everett Katigbak explained this point with a note on his blog: “Just as people make the space on the website their own, we’ve opted to do the same with our physical space. We’ve left a lot of the walls white and the spaces unfinished to encourage employees to add the finishing touches.”
