Collection of modern, minimalist, and eco friendly architectural design for your home inspiration
Occupying an area of 1,800 square feet area, the Gigaplex Architects team has delivered a sophisticating Monte-Silo House which designed for a single man and his weekend visitors to Woodland, Utah. Nestled on the Provo River, the modern silo house was constructed using two linked corrugated-metal grain silos which gave unique look and wonderful circular rooms inside.
Other cool things that can be found in this home is the eco friendly features. The home is facing south which maximizes the natural daylight and solar heat gain during the cold winter months. In addition to heat the house, an electric mesh is installed into the lower floor along with a propane-burning stove for backup. Warm in winter and cool in summer, the metal grating and the second-storey deck provide shade, and sweet relief from the hot summer sun.
I don't know if your power-bills could as high as two-thousand bucks a month, but sure this tips will help you out of it.
