Office Interior with Decorative Geometrical Shapes – Besturenraad / BKO Office by COEN!

Coen van Ham is a Dutch architectural designer who studied at Design Academy in Eindhoven. His design firm COEN! recently completed an interior project of Besturenraad / BKO Office. The design features stained glass patterns, metal grids based on the golden section and special text prints with a message.

For the design of this story COEN! used The Book as a metaphor. Apart from the Christian and Catholic values a book also consists of structure, text and image. The relation between faith and education is also subtly made clear by DNA patterns and golden ‘office altars’.

These two organizations are going to cooperate more intensively at a new location and take care of two denominational types of education in the Netherlands: Catholic and Protestant. The aim of this project was to visually connect the shared goals and principles of both organizations.

Woodworking is a piece of cake …

With tons of blueprints (over 16,000!) for different furniture designs and outdoor woodwork projectsyou can have a great insight into how to build different things with wood. In it, they tell you about wood, how to design projects, the detailed photographs, patterns, blueprints, materials list and step by step instructions on how to put build them.

The second part shows you the different tools and how to use them, and a complete guide to woodwork carpentry. And the color photographs and drawings are beautiful and show a lot of detail.
