Collection of modern, minimalist, and eco friendly architectural design for your home inspiration
Architecture firm Visiondivision delivered an example how traditional home design can be combined with modern architecture style. The client wanted to have the typical old Swedish red houses with mullion windows (which is called spröjs in Swedish), that includes a master bedroom, a room for clothing care, a work space and a space for coffee and breakfast.
The house’s landscape forces the architect to divide the house into three levels. The most top upper level is dedicated for more leisure oriented with a master bedroom and a coffee/breakfast shelf in the mullion. The middle part contains a wardrobe that can be reached from the upper and lower leveland a fire place with storage for timber in the mullion, and finally a lower level that is more work related with a room for clothing careand a small home office in the mullion. Photographs by Clive Jenkins.
With tons of blueprints (over 16,000!) for different furniture designs and outdoor woodwork projectsyou can have a great insight into how to build different things with wood. In it, they tell you about wood, how to design projects, the detailed photographs, patterns, blueprints, materials list and step by step instructions on how to put build them.
The second part shows you the different tools and how to use them, and a complete guide to woodwork carpentry. And the color photographs and drawings are beautiful and show a lot of detail.
