With an informal atmosphere, the first Havaianas Store in Brazil surely represents the spirit’s brand as cool and casual wear. This Isay Weinfeld‘s design is developed with openness to the street, which somehow just like an extension of the sidewalk without door or windows with abundant natural light and green views.
Fromt the street level, one can see a small sitting area and a mezzanine that looks over the entire store. Below, there is a level that occupies the double height space, defined by independent elements:a stand reminds the origin of the sandals. A container displays the “export” models, which is not likely to be seen in domestic market.
Transparent cylinder shows the brand new models while the cube exhibit the history of Havaianas. A space is available to personalize the sandals. In the back of the store, in a semi-high level, there is a small garden for exclusive use by those working in the store. The lower level houses the offices and warehouse.
