Collection of modern, minimalist, and eco friendly architectural design for your home inspiration
Located in Mostelberg, Switzerland, Swiss architects Diethelm & Spillmann completed Passivhaus Vogel which offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountainous landscape. The living area is raised above the ground and rests on an unheated base, which accommodates the garage and cellar spaces.
Building regulations only allowed a two-story structure, thus made the architects to built and extended the house horizontally. In the interior, silver coated plaster is combined with unrefined wooden panels made from larch wood.
Outside, the structure is enveloped by a layer of darkly varnished wooden cladding, appeared in its form as a single roof. Fulfilling the need of sustainable energy, the roof is fully fitted with photovoltaic an solar panels. Via Designboom
