London-based architects Platform 5 have completed a house extension project of a Victorian terraced house in Hackney, London. Their design have been awarded the first prize in the refurbishment competition “Don’t Move, Improve” held by New London Architecture (NLA).
Argentinian-based firm Guillermo Radovich Arquitecto has completed a minimalist house project in Buenos Aires. The existing brick house design is wrapped in a band of white concrete, along with the warm touch of teak cladding exterior. The project involved extending the residence by changing the perimeter of the building from an L-shape to a rectangle.
Argentinian firm BAK arquitectos have designed a modern minimalist house in Mapuche Country Club, Pilar, Argentina. The house which built on a 600 squared-meter area, comprised of a minimalist building, large backyard, and a swimming pool.
Occupying an area of 140 m2, architect Marc Koehler has designed this house in Ijburg, a recently developed suburb of the city of Amsterdam. The main purpose of the house design was to create a vertical garden giving space to flora and fauna to grow in a densly urbanised area.
