Nature have inspired Japanese architects Hirotani Yoshihiro + Ishida Yusaku from Archivision Hirotani Studio to create a modern home design with barnacle profile on its façade. The Fujitsobo (barnacle) house incorporates skylights mounted in three pitched volumes on the roof.
In the south of Spain, a small village of Zahara de la Sierra is well known for its reservoir made of a concrete dam. The local government made the site as a canoeing water-sport, thus commissioned Julio Barreno Arquitecto to design a contemporary building for canoe storage.

Polish-based architects from KameleonLab: Rafal Specylak and Kuba Wozniczka have completed an extension to a residence in Wroclaw. The project involved the house extension on its both sides. As the name of the project called: Black Cube House, the house’s facade is clad in black-painted wooden panels.
