Villa 1 Eco Friendly Design in Netherland by Powerhouse Company
Located in the Veluwe Zoom area near Arnhem in the Netherlands, a team of architect from Powerhouse Company designed the woodland Villa 1 which earned them the “Best Private Interior” at the Dutch Design Awards recently.
Stated as an alternative dwelling place in this more polluted world, the house is embedded with large glass doors and windows which allow more sunlight inside as well as giving its resident a direct view to the original scenery of near forest. Modern furnishings are emblazoned in the interior which gives the house the feel of cleanliness and simplicity. Half of the house are built underground since the architect need to meet the local regulations.
