World class designer Karim Rashid has delivered another of his masterpiece at the Vdara in Las Vegas. Named after Silk Road Restaurant, the place isn’t just a simple designer restaurant. Karim has successfully mixed the elements between modern contemporary interior and the old-world colors, textures and prints.

Luxurious decor like metallic gold wallpaper and the use various bright colors like rich berry, olive green, and amber accents, represents the colorful spices found along the famous Silk Road trading route, which is this restaurant’s culinary menu.

The Silk Road Restaurant uses the tasteful Eboli chair to surround custom resin tables in the glamorous dining area, softly illuminated by a woven chandelier by Andromeda. The lounge is similarly decorated with custom, organic shapes of the seating areas punctuated by hanging lighting from design group La Murrina.
